81ST VENICE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL The catalogue presents the films of the 81st Venice International Film Festival. For each film, the entry includes, in addition to the technical specs, a synopsis, the director’s statement and biography, both in Italian and in English. There are also a portrait of the director and a selection of stills, in black and white or colour, from the film. The structure of the catalogue reflects the division of the Festival in sections: Venezia 81 Competition, Out of Competition, Orizzonti, Orizzonti Extra and Venice Classics. The catalogue also highlights the productions of the Biennale College Cinema and the Venice Immersive section. Introductions by the President of La Biennale di Venezia Pietrangelo Buttafuoco and the Artistic Director Alberto Barbera open the book.
