From October 13th to 25th 2020, for the 14th International Festival of Contemporary Dance, choreographers from around the world and with the most disparate backgrounds were in Venice to offer spectators new perspectives and lead them into the exploration of unknown places.
The catalogue of Biennale Danza 2020 offers an overview of the Festival, from the performances to the encounters with the public, in critical texts, biographies and quotes from the invited artists. The book fully reflects the richness of the performances on the programme and highlights the dynamics and contemporary developments in the figures of the dancer and the choreographer.
The catalogue is based on a concept by the Director of Biennale Danza, Marie Chouinard. Layout and graphic design are by Headline.
