L’ANNUARIO DELLE ESPOSIZIONI INTERNAZIONALI D’ARTE (1895-2019)

This volume gathers the data on all the International Art Exhibitions from 1895 to 2019 and publishes information drawn exclusively from official sources of La Biennale di Venezia, with an introduction in English. The book is divided into three volumes for consultation in chronological and alphabetical order.

International Art Exhibitions 1895 – 2019 and Special Exhibitions
Institutional information relative to every edition is collected here: the commissioners, the awards juries, the sections, the artists, the main installations, the new pavilions built each year and the awards. The information about the International Art Exhibitions is divided into two parts, the first covering the years between 1895 to 1997, the second from 1999 to 2019. A chapter dedicated to the Special Exhibitions separates these two parts.

The Posters and the Installations
The official Posters are published along with a selection of photographs that portray the installations and chronicle events, illustrating some of the key moments in the various Exhibitions.

The Artists
The participating artists are listed in alphabetical order by surname, specifying the year and the section they participated in.
